Food was pretty pricey, but portions were large and there's a great variety of sides offered. Service was fine, no complaints there. This is in an area where some restaurants have lines around the corner, this place is relatively low key and just as good.

The Baseline: For Korean bibimbop/soup restaurants the soup base must be quality, the quality of the meat/rice of the bibimbop, and the accompanying sides. Food: I like the soup at Togo Ya, I had the Kimchi beef soup and it had a good amount of beef/tofu. The ingredients are quality and the accompanying fish cake, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, etc. were great with the main. Service: Good solid service and my water glass was kept filled. Atmosphere: No muss, no fuss type of restaurant experience. Plenty of seating and there is an outside patio.

Although the restaurant could be a little bit more tidier, the Korean bbq, tofu soup, and ramen were delicious and the staff was nice. The ramen broth was very savory. I ordered the tofu soup second to highest spice level and I should have maxed it out. I eat pretty spicy. There is a locked bathroom around the back of the restaurant, and you need to request for the key. Love the Sawtelle area!

Option for a Quick meal. Not the best Korean dishes I’ve had but it’s decent. This restaurant serves all sorts of Tofu soup. And you can customize the spicy level. 1x is pretty spicy already. I like their cold noodle. It’s pretty authentic and brings a refreshing touch. Perfect for summertime. Side dishes are tasty and big portion. They also have specials combo you can mix and match bbq meat+main course.

I loved their tofu soup! I had a combo of denjang and bulgogi. The denjang soup with medium spice wasn’t too spicy. The bulgogi was sizzling and was well seasoned! Each comes with rice so I was very full after eating the combo. We also got a seafood pancake wish was yummy as well. We had a bibimbap, dolsot bibimbap, and pork katsu all as combos. The bath room is outside in the back of the building and you need a key to use. It was surprisingly clean! They’re definitely understaffed but trying their best.

It's a good spot on sawtelle Ave, not too busy when other places are packed. The prices are very fair and the portions were sizable enough. I do not recommend the tofu soup with crab that my friend ordered. The crab was very small and difficult to get any meat out of it. The bibimbop combo was very good, I'd order that again.

Came here today June 15,2025. The person wearing white apron is very nice to explain the menu and good service. Of all the 3 restaurant (HIDE, Big boi, Tofu ya) I went to. Tofu ya have the most decent amount of food for their price. Variety of side dishes. I’m glad I found this place. Will definitely come back.

I'm not a fan of such dishes. But I think those who are would like this.
